General Questions
1. What exactly is a plantable pen?
It is a sustainable writing instrument made from recycled materials. Once the ink is finished, instead of throwing it away and adding to a landfill, you simply “plant” the pen.
With a little water, sunlight, and proper care your pen transforms into a beautiful plant. Giving back to the Earth what it took to create it.
2. Are these pens made of plastic?
No. Our pens are manufactured from recycled materials, resulting in 96% less plastic than a traditional ballpoint pen. This makes them a high impact, biodegradable alternative to the billions of plastic pens that end up in landfills every year. By choosing Creator Eco, you are significantly reducing your plastic footprint while still enjoying a premium writing experience.
3. What seeds are available?
We use a diverse variety of high-quality, non GMO seeds to ensure successful growth. Our collection includes various vegetables, aromatic herbs, and colorful flowers. Each seed is carefully selected to be hardy and easy to grow, even for beginners.
4. Why don't you state the seed name on the pen?
We intentionally keep the specific seed type a “Surprise” to spark curiosity and joy. Our research shows that the mystery of not knowing what will grow significantly increases engagement. When the result is a surprise, users especially children are more likely to plant the pen and care for it daily to solve the mystery.
A Global Favorite: This feature is particularly loved by our Japanese clients. In Japanese culture, there is a deep appreciation for thoughtful surprises and unique experiences. They value the “gift of anticipation” the moment of wonder when a small gesture turns into a living, breathing plant.

5. How long can I store the pens before planting?
For the best germination results, we recommend planting your pen within 18 to 24 months of purchase. To keep the seeds “sleeping” and healthy, store your pens in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
6. Is the ink also eco-friendly?
Yes. We use high quality, non toxic ink.
7. Do the pens actually write well?
Quality is our priority. We use premium ink with a smooth 0.5 mm tip. Whether you are signing a contract or sketching a dream, our pens provide a consistent, smudge free flow.
8. Are the notebooks also plantable?
Yes! Our Plantable Notebooks (available in A5 and A6) are made from 100% eco-friendly, biodegradable, and compostable materials. After you have filled the 100 pages of single ruled paper, you can plant the cover to grow herbs, flowers, or vegetables.
9. How many plants will grow from a single pen?
Each Creator Eco Pen usually contains one specific type of plant (e.g., all seeds in one pen might be Chilli), you will often get more than one sprout.
Depending on the size of the seed, you can get anywhere from 1 to 6 plants from a single pen.
If you see 4 or 5 little sprouts coming out of the same spot, you can carefully “thin them out” and move them to separate pots once they are a few inches tall. This way, one pen can actually start a whole mini garden.
Themed Pen Boxes & Gift Sets
1. What is a "Themed Pen Box"?
Our Themed Pen Boxes are curated gift sets that combine our plantable pens with beautiful, purpose driven packaging. Each box is designed around a specific concept such as Wildflife, Sea life , Rain forest or Dog lovers etc making them the perfect meaningful gift for friends, family, or colleagues.
2. What plants will I get in my Themed Box?
To keep the magic alive, each themed box contains a curated selection of our high quality Surprise Seeds. We believe the mystery adds an element of excitement for the recipient as they watch their gift grow! Depending on your chosen theme, your box will include a mix from herbs and vegetables.
3.How many pens in a box?
Our pen boxes include 6, 12 and 24 pens.
4. Is there a guide on the box for the recipient?
Yes! Every themed box includes a “How to Plant” infographic. This ensures the person receiving your gift knows exactly how to turn their pen into a plant, even if they’ve never gardened before.
Customization & Branding
1. Can I print my company logo on the pens?
Yes! We specialize in corporate branding. We can print your logo, slogan, or website directly onto the pen or Notebook.
2. What customization options do I have for the pens?
We offer a fully tailored experience to help you build a memorable identity. You can choose:
Writing Ink Color: Blue, Black, or Red.
Print Color: Black or Color printing.
Printing Sides: Choose between Single Side or Double-Side.
3. Can I print individual names on each product?
Currently, we offer Uniform Printing only. To maintain efficiency and quality, the same design will be printed on every unit in your batch (e.g., all 50 product will have the same logo).
4. What are the requirements for uploading my logo?
To ensure high-clarity printing, we have a strict quality check:
File Size: Minimum 100KB. (Please avoid screenshots as they result in blurry prints).
Formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, or PDF.
5. Can I get a physical sample before placing a large branded order?
We understand that you want to feel the quality and test the ink before committing to a bulk purchase.
You can purchase our Regular Themed 6-Pen Pack. These sets come with our official Creator Eco branding and are the perfect way to see our high resolution print quality and experience the smooth German liquid ink. Please note that these sample packs feature our standard logo. We do not provide custom branded samples with your specific logo for single pack orders.

2. Why can't I add a specific quantity to my cart?
Our system has built in limits. If you try to enter a number below the minimum or above the maximum, the “Add to Cart” button will be restricted to ensure your order fits our current production capacity.
3. I need to order more than the Maximum Limit . Is that possible?
Yes! For orders exceeding the maximum limit, we offer specialized Bulk Discounts. Please contact our team, so we can provide a custom quote and timeline for your large scale project.
Packaging & Add-ons
1. Can I order the custom sleeves or boxes separately?
No. Our packaging add ons (Sleeves, Boxes, and Tags) are dependency based. They are designed to accompany our plantable products and can only be ordered when you have customized pens in your cart.
2. What is the minimum order for packaging?
To keep our production sustainable, we have the following minimums:
Custom Sleeves (PKG-SLV): Minimum 50 units.
Packaging Boxes & Tags (PKG-BOX /TAG): Minimum 30 units.
3. Do I have to buy a box or tag for every single pen in my order?
No, you do not! You have the flexibility to choose how many pens you want to be “gift-ready.”
Example: You can order 100 Custom Pens but only order 30 Packaging Boxes.
This is perfect if you only want to give “premium” packaging to a few select VIP clients while distributing the rest of the pens individually at an event. As long as you meet the minimum of 30 boxes, you can mix and match your quantities!
Planting & Growing
1. How exactly do I plant the pen or notebook?

2.How many days until I see a sprout?
Patience is key! With proper sunlight and regular watering, most of our surprise seeds will begin to sprout within 7 to 15 days. Some herbs take a little longer than vegetables, so keep the soil moist and keep watching.
3. What kind of soil should I use?
Since our products contain real living seeds, treat them like a actual planting activity.
Use: Loose, nutrient-rich potting soil. Ensure it is high quality and free from harmful chemicals.
Check: Always inspect your soil for insects or parasites that might eat the seeds before they grow.
Avoid: Very hard clay or salty beach sand; seeds need soft soil to push through to the surface.
Drainage: Ensure your pot or garden spot has good drainage so the seeds don’t “drown” in standing water.
4. Where can I plant my Creator Eco products?
The possibilities are endless! You can use a traditional pot, a greenhouse, a balcony planter, or even recycled bags. They are perfect for a sunny windowsill indoors or directly in your garden. Because our materials are 100% biodegradable and safe, they are a great choice for school projects and community gardens.
5. What are the "Must-Dos" for a healthy plant?
Water: Keep the soil moist, like a damp sponge. Not too much, not too little. Never let it dry out completely in the first 14 days.
Sunlight: Ensure it gets 4–6 hours of natural light daily. Pro tip: While the sprout is a “baby,” give it some shade during the hottest part of the day to prevent it from burning.
Love: Check on it daily! Consistency is the secret to a successful garden.
6. Do’s and Don’ts" for Success
✅ DO: Plant at a 45-degree angle. This gives the sprout the easiest path to grow upward.
✅ DO: Ensure the ink is completely finished. Leftover ink in large amounts could potentially affect the seed or soil quality.
❌ DON’T: Use boiling or freezing water; room temperature water is best.
❌ DON’T: Bury it too deep. If the pen is deeper than 2cm, the sprout may not have enough energy to reach the surface.
7. In what cases will the seed NOT grow?
While we use high quality seeds, nature can be unpredictable. A seed might not sprout if:
The soil dries out: Even one day of dry soil can stop a seed from “waking up.”
Over watering: If the soil is muddy or soaking wet, the seed might rot.
Lack of Sunlight: Seeds need warmth and light to trigger growth.
Pests: Keep an eye out! Snails, worms, or insects can sometimes eat the seeds or new sprouts before you even see them.

1. What happens after I checkout?
Your journey with us begins immediately.
Our system stores your uploaded logo and printing notes.
A design specialist verifies your logo’s resolution.
We will contact you via WhatsApp, Phone, or Email with a digital proof. We never print until you say it’s confirmed and good to go.
2. When does production start?
Production only begins after you have confirmed the final digital proof. Once you give us the “Green Light,” our manufacturing team starts the branding process.

Timeline: While times vary by country and customs processing, most international orders arrive within 7–12 business days.
3. I’m based in Sri Lanka; how quickly can I expect my order?
Once your order is manufactured and dispatched from our facility, the delivery timeline is as follows:
Within City Limits: You will receive your package the next day.
Outside City Limits: If your location is further away, you will receive it within 1 to 2 days.
4. Do you provide tracking information?
Yes. Whether your order is traveling Inland or International, you will receive a tracking number via Email or WhatsApp the moment it leaves our warehouse. You can monitor your shipment’s journey from our door to yours in real time.
