Meeting the Honourable Diyawadana Nilame
As a company born and bred in the heart of Kandy, our roots are deeply intertwined with the culture and traditions of this sacred city. Recently, Creator Eco Pens had the distinct honor of experiencing a landmark moment in our journey. Our Co-Founders had the immense privilege of an audience with the Honourable Diyawadana Nilame, the Chief Lay Custodian of the Sri Dalada Maligawa (The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic).
A Connection Rooted in Tradition
Meeting the Diyawadana Nilame was more than just a formal introduction; it was a deeply humbling experience. As we presented our vision for a sustainable, eco-friendly world, the atmosphere of the Maligawa served as a powerful reminder of our purpose.
The Kandy Privilege
“Being based in Kandy , we feel a unique responsibility. To receive the blessings and the opportunity to share our mission with the custodian of our city’s most sacred site was a special privilege that we do not take lightly.”
🌿 Our Vision for a Greener Heritage
During the meeting, we discussed the importance of preserving our environment as a way of honoring our heritage. Every time someone plants a Creator Eco Pen or Notebook, they are contributing to a greener future for the very land that has protected our history for centuries. This encounter has fueled our team with a renewed sense of purpose to lead the way in sustainable manufacturing.
Moving Forward with Purpose
We are incredibly grateful for this honorable encounter and look forward to continuing our mission of making the world a bit greener one pen at a time.
