Planting Instructions

Watch Your Story Grow

You’ve finished the Pen or Notebook.
Now it’s time to start the life.
Follow these steps to turn your Creator Eco products into a thriving green space.

How to Plant Your Pen?

1. Empty & Ready

Before you begin your planting journey, ensure your pen has completely run out of ink.

Tip: Residual ink can be harmful to the delicate seeds and soil quality. Make sure your pen has finished its writing life before its growing life begins.

2. Plant & Water

Insert your pen into the soil at a 45-degree angle, ensuring the end is pointing downwards.

Depth: Cover the end of the pen with about 1cm of loose, nutrient rich soil.

Moisture: Water immediately after planting to “wake up” the seeds.

3. Grow & Love

Patience and care are the final ingredients. To welcome your new sprout within 5 to 10 days, ensure you.

Keep it Moist: The soil should feel like a damp sponge at all times.

Provide Sunlight: Place the pot in a spot that receives 4–6 hours of natural light.

Show some Love: Check on your seeds daily for the best results.

How to Plant Your Creator Notebook ?

1. Soak the Cover

When your notebook is full of ideas, it’s time to turn it into a garden.

Cut: Carefully cut the front and back covers into small pieces (about 5cm x 5cm).

Soak: Place the pieces in a bowl of room temperature water for 30 minutes.

The Goal: This softens the recycled paper and “activates” the seeds so they are ready to sprout.

2. Place & over

Prepare a pot with loose, nutrient rich potting soil.

Lay: Place the soaked paper pieces flat on top of the soil. Do not overlap them too much (give them space to breathe)

Tuck In: Lightly cover the pieces with a thin layer (about 0.5cm) of extra soil. If the soil is too thick, the tiny sprouts won’t be able to push through.

3. Care & Grow

Now, the transformation begins.

Moisture: Keep the soil consistently moist. Using a spray bottle is best so you don’t wash the seeds away.

Sunlight: Find a warm, sunny spot (like a windowsill) that gets at least 4–6 hours of light.

Results: With daily love, you will see your Notebook  turning into green sprouts in 7 to 14 days.

🌿 Pro Tips for Growing Success

The Perfect Foundation (Soil & Location)

What kind of soil should I use?  For the best results, use loose, nutrient-rich potting soil. Avoid hard clay or salty sand from the beach, as these are too tough for tiny seeds to push through.
Where can I plant them? Your Creator Eco products are versatile! Start them in a small pot on a sunny windowsill, a balcony planter, or directly in your garden. Because our materials are  biodegradable and safe, they are perfect for home, school projects, or community gardens.
Drainage is Key If planting in a garden, ensure the spot has good drainage so the seeds don’t “drown” in standing water.

The “Must-Dos” for a Healthy Plant

💧 Water- Keep the soil moist like a damp sponge. Never let it dry out completely in the first 14 days.
☀️ Sunlight – Ensure your plant gets at least 4–6 hours of natural light daily.
💚 Love – Check on your seeds daily! Consistency is the secret to a thriving plant.

✅ Quick Do’s

  • Make sure you have finished the pen before planting to keep your soil 100% organic.
  • Plant the pen at an angle (45°) so the plant has plenty of room to grow upward.

❌ Quick Don’ts

  • Use boiling or very cold water; room temperature is best for “waking up” seeds.
  • Bury it too deep. If the seed is deeper than 2cm, the sprout might not reach the surface.

⚠️ Why didn’t it grow?

While we use high quality, non GMO seeds, nature can be tricky! A seed may not sprout if:

  • The soil dried out: Even one full day of dry soil can stop a seed from germinating.
  • Over-watering: If the soil is “muddy” or soaking wet, the seed might rot.
  • No Sunlight: Seeds need the warmth of the sun to “wake up” and begin growing.
  • Expired Seeds: For the best results, plant your products within 2 years of purchase. After this, the germination rate naturally drops.
